Bhakti Caitanya Swami is a disciple of Srila Prabhupada receiving initiation from His Divine Grace in 1973.In 1974 he moved to London’s Bhaktivedanta Manor to, among many other engagements, serve as treasurer, book distributor, and BBT (Bhaktivedanta Book Trust) assistant. In 1980, he traveled to Southern Africa to assist in the mission of establishing a society of devotees there.

Krishna Abhishek das, know in academic circles as Dr. Abhishek Ghosh, received his PhD from the prestigious Chicago University. He is currently a professor of religious studies at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids MI, USA. He has two upcoming books on the life and teachings of Srila Bhaktivinod Thakur. We’ll have two conversations with him to observe the disappearance day of the Thakur and gain insight into Srila Bhaktivinod’s continued presence within and influence on the sankirtan movement today. – Part 1 – Part 2
